We love using the soap pouch to lather soap on and use as a mitt, you can choose to put your soap bar into it but it's harder for the soap to dry out doesn't last quite as long. We recommend putting your soap inside when it gets very small, or if you have lots of bits of different soaps you can throw them all in the pouch to use them up.
