I'm closing down my small business, this is why

To all my lovely customers, followers, suppliers, and everyone I've had the pleasure of connecting with during the last few years of Bare Blue, unfortunately, I've made the incredibly difficult decision to close down my small business.
It's a decision I've mulled over for a long time now, and I've finally reached the point where it feels like the right one. While I feel I have made my peace with it, it's of course very sad and disappointing, especially considering the amount of time, energy, and money, I've poured into it over the years.
I've loved building my businesses and I'm so proud of what I created, but sadly the current climate is not conducive to keeping it going. While the last few years have been an amazing experience as well as a steep learning curve, it's also been very stressful and tiring, and I am tired of constantly worrying about finances - both personally and within my business.
Since I started working on Bare Blue in August 2020, I've given it everything - my time, my energy, my savings, and I have nothing left to give! There is only so long you can continue pushing when you're not seeing a return.
I'm extending a big Thank You to you, whether you have purchased, or followed along on social media, or mentioned my business to a friend, thank you for your support and for enabling me to have this experience over the last few years.
I have connected with so many lovely people through the Bare Blue Instagram page, and I'd really like to keep the page active in some way and keep those connections - so please let me know if you have any suggestions for that!
Lastly, I'm having a closing down sale to help move the stock along to good homes, so please have a look and spread the word if you can. There are over 150 different products with varying degrees of stock levels, but as things are selling out I will remove them from the shop to make it easier to browse.
You're welcome to get in touch via email or Instagram if you have any queries and I'll happily help you out.
With thanks,
Niamh
